Shivir Aranya welcomed its first guests on October 2021. The development of the project started in 2018 and involved construction, landscaping and training of the local village people to staff the project as this is the first step towards a new frontier in Community Service. Shivir Aranya is designed for Nature lovers.
Our layout, policies and processes seek to maintain harmony with Nature.

Our 4 acres of open, clean, green and safe space doesn't just provide shelter and fuel for your body, and calmness to your mind, it helps in rejuvenating your spirit!
We are the Hikers' Retreat.
We have hiking trips scheduled everyday in the morning. The degree of difficulty of the hike varies and can be adjusted as per the interest and capability of a particular group.
For hard-core enthusiasts, we have topographical maps available of hiking and biking trails. We also have many adventure sports available. We have rock-climbing, rappelling, zip-lining and rope course activities available in-campus, though currently they are only activated for groups. Again, for hard-core enthusiasts, we have rock-climbing and rappelling faces designated in the nearby mountains. These activities are only performed by prior agreement.

About us
Shivir Aranya is located on the periphery of Sariska National Park at Alwar. We have 30 units of accommodation with all modern facilities. We have limited free parking, WiFi throughout the campus and a restaurant. All accommodation units have their own lawn.
